Originally built in 2012, the Bulk Rare cube was an experiment to see if it was possible to build a cube purely from unplayable rares throughout Magic history.

As the power level of Magic rares has increased over time, I'm updating the cube to create a more playable - and even fun - drafting experience.

Criteria for Inclusion in the Bulk Rare Cube:
-<$1 USD (unless already owned)
-Printed at least once at rare in a Magic set
-Meets basic playability standards in the average limited draft format
-Not a staple in any other constructed/cube format
-Introduces an interesting or fun yet playable mechanic
