This cube aims to accomplish a few goals:
Provoke interesting choices in draft. Prior card selection in a draft should affect pick order. I'm aiming for a high power level, while rewarding synergistic deckbuilding choices. A pile of the best cards from each pack should not be a strong deck in this environment.
No single overpowered card, deck, or archetype. The environment is mostly fair, and drafters should not count on unfair strategies to dominate the gameplay. I have chosen not to include free spells.
Proactive strategies are encouraged. This is manifest through an emphasis on aggressively stated creatures as well as a significant weight of efficient sorcery speed removal.
The cube should be easy to pickup and understand for players of all skill levels. I aim to avoid double sided cards if possible.
The cube focuses on macro-archetypes of aggro (WRb), midrange (Gx), and control (Uwb).
