- Stun - Use stun counters to control the board.
- Draw - Trigger abilities by drawing cards.
- Burn - Defeat your opponents with fire.
- Impulse - Amas advantage through your exile zone.
- Counters - Modify creatures with counters.
- Sacrifice - Tribute your creatures for success.
- Spells - Control the game with instants and sorceries.
- Wither - Weaken your opponents' creatures with -1/-1 counters.
- Artifacts - Use synergistic machines to pull ahead.
- Ramp - One land per turn is never enough.
Adjust - Add or remove a counter of any type that is already there to/from target permanent.
Enlist - As a creature with enlist attacks, you may tap a nonattacking creature you control without summoning sickness. When you do, add its power to that creature's until end of turn.
Frostbite - Whenever creatures with frostbite deal damage to another creature, tap that creature and put a stun counter on it.
Persist - Whenever a creature with persist dies, if it had no -1/-1 counters on it, return it to the battlefield under its owner’s control with a -1/-1 counter on it.
Storm - When you cast a spell with storm, copy it for each spell cast before it this turn. You may choose new targets for the copies.
Wither - Creatures with wither deal damage to creatures in the form of -1/-1 counters.
Shield counter - If a permanent with a shield counter would be dealt damage or destroyed, remove a shield counter from it instead.
Stun counter - If a permanent with a stun counter would become untapped, remove a stun counter from it instead.
