Hi there! This is my custom made commander cube. There are a few things you should know before drafting that would probably be confusing if not explained. So read through this and let me know if you have any questions.

Oh! And please remember that these rules are meant to make things more fun, so if they don’t work for your group, change them!

Happy Drafting! -Mason

Custom Rules
  1. While drafting this cube, you draft in packs of 20 cards and pick 2 cards per pass. This helps to make the draft go faster and creates more cohesive decks

  2. The cube itself is not singleton, however, picks and decks should be treated as if the cube is singleton. So, please don’t pick a second pair of swiftfoot boots if you already have one. This is to make things as fair as possible for everyone at the table.

  3. There is a second list of cards known as the commander menu from which players can pick a commander after the draft. This helps to keep the draft drafty and make sure that everyone gets a commander that works for the deck that they drafted. Plus, who doesn’t enjoy picking more cards?

  1. As long as you can cast the spell, you can put it in your deck. Alternate costs within the text box, hybrid mana in the spells cost, and split cards can be put in your deck as long as you would be able to cast them, or half of them in the case of split cards, within your commanders color identity. So, yes, if you can muster up that odd double white in your mono black deck then you can absolutely cast that damn for its overload cost. However, this rule does not apply to lands. You can only use lands that contain mana symbols of the colors in your commanders color identity. This is for balance and bonus fun!
