Innistrad: Double Feature Remastered

(Description WIP) Having enjoyed both Midnight Hunt and Crimson Vow draft formats despite their flaws, I wanted to create a curated set cube that combined the best and most fun cards from each set while cutting some problem cards hoping to make a balanced format.

Spirits, Disturb - wu

UW in both sets featured spirits and disturb, with VOW also having an enchantment subtheme. Both disturb archetypes share support cards, and while the enchantment theme is less pushed some of it remains.

Decayed Zombies, Exploit - ub

The decayed tokens from MID provide sacrifice fodder for the exploit cards from VOW, and both archetypes play well with the zombie tribal support.

Vampires, Blood - br

While both sets featured vampires, the blood theme from VOW was both more interesting and more consistent than the bloodthirst theme in MID. Some of the stronger vampires from MID have been kept but this archetype is mostly ported over from VOW

Wolves, Werewolves - rg

Featuring the best wolves and werewolves from across both sets.

Humans, Coven - gw

Focusing on the coven mechanic from MID combined with some of the human aggro cards from VOW minus the training theme.

Sacrifice, Lifegain - wb

The sacrifice and lifegain theme from MID and VOW had enough cards that played well together that both themes are present here.

Spellcasting - ur

Both sets had a classic UR spellcasting theme, so this was easy to combine.

Morbid, Toughness - bg

BG got the short end of the stick on both sets, with few cards truly dedicated to either the Morbid or Toughness theme, so as most of the key cards for both decks were roleplayers in the other supported archetypes I've decided to keep both for now

Aggressive - wr

The day/night cards from the RW acrhetype were too fickly in MID for me to consider keeping. The backbone of both WR decks was an aggro plan, so that's what's been focused on.

Flashback, Graveyard - ug

MID has a very fun UG flashback deck, and VOV's vauge graveyard theme for the color pair supplemented that plan well.
