Theros (Set Draft)
A Theros draft sim cube, which has approximately twice as many uncommons compared to an opening actual packs. The cube is built with budget in mind, which is why the rares and mythics aren't the most expensive of the set.
Red was a bit weak, so that has been upgraded with six cards from other sets in the block. If you want a completely pure THS experience, you can cut those six cards and add in one each of Spark Jolt, Satyr Rambler, Rage of Purphoros, Flame Speaker Adept, Spearpoint Oread and Ill Tempered Cyclops.
Packs
Rares and mythics are shuffled together and one random card from that pool is added to each pack after taking 14 random cards from the commons and uncommons.
If you use the custom draft mode available when playtesting, your packs will look as intended.
Note however, that the bots are really bad at drafting set cubes right now due to the way their picks are decided, so until that's fixed, I wouldn't recommend drafting these cubes on here.
Cube construction
The cube is constructed using the following rules:
- There is at least one of each common and uncommon from the set in the cube.
- There are two copies of what I've deemed non-bad commons and uncommons.
- There are three copies of the top commons in the set.
This construction is intended to make the draft feel a lot like drafting the actual set, while reducing the chaff as much as possible. The higher rate of good cards in the cube also means that on average, each pack will have twice as many uncommons as an ordinary pack, and the commons that are in the pack are more likely to be desirable.
Cube Cobra Note
The maybe board contains a set of extra rares/mythics that are included in that pool. The reason why they are in the maybeboard is simply to not have CubeCobra say "(373 Card Cube)" and get everyone doubting that the cube is finished.
