This is a peasant (C/U) Battlebox/War Room.
Everyone plays from the same library, starts the game with a side deck of the same ten lands (one of each basic and five allied guildgates), may play one land per turn, and draws 4 cards to start the game. Each player has an individual graveyard.
I avoid most cards that add or tap for mana (no signets, rituals, etc. but I do have a couple treasure makers.), because I want everyone to have access to the same 10 lands and not have any mana advantages. For the same reason I also don't include any land destruction. I choose to include library manipulation effects like scry, brainstorm, etc. because I think they are fun in a format like this where players share a library. However, I have tried to not put too many cards with that effect in because they can also be a bit overpowered. Finally, I really like cards with activated abilities, such as the invokers and battlemages. Activated abilities add a lot of interesting gameplay decisions, so I value those types of cards over some other more obviously powerful options.
