This cube only has lands!
That's right: I've created a cube that consists ONLY of lands card. That's right, the only cards in each and every pack are lands
and after the draft is over you still get to add basic lands to make your 40 card deck. Why would I do this? Why would you want to
play this? Read on to find out or just check out the cube.(If you want to draft the cube keep in mind you need to decrease below 8
players since the cube is less than 360 cards)

I've always loved weird utility lands and having spell-like effects on my lands. I think they are great for draft environments
since they let the player make interesting choices about drafting: should you draft another non-land playable, should you pick a
land for fixing, or should you add incremental value by picking up a utility land? The problem tends to be that while these
utility lands can be very fun, they aren't typically very powerful compared to spells and fixing. The fact the most cubes use
their land-base primarily for fixing lands also makes it hard to include many utility lands.

The goal of this cube is to create a unique and semi-hilarious experience where these oft-maligned and ignored cards are
showcased. In fact, the players' only hope of victory lies in the non-mana abilities of these cards. Weird stuff happens in this
environment: Strip Mine is a zero mana Vindicate and the strongest of the overpowered Urza lands isn't [[Tolerian
Academy]] or Gaea's Cradle (what are you even going to do with all that mana?), it's Shivan Gorge.

I can hear the complaints already:

  1. But how can I kill my opponent with no creatures!?

Answer: You can still kill them with creatures! We've got manlands like Raging Ravine and Creeping Tar Pit, lands that
sacrifice to produce creatures like Memorial of Glory or Westvale Abby and even a permanent creature in Dryad Arbor!

  1. But I want spells!

Answer: Who needs them! We have plenty of utility lands like Ifnir Deadlands for removal, Blighted Woodland for ramp and
Memorial to Genius for card-draw!

  1. What about combat tricks?

Answer: No problem! Check out cards like Sunhome, Pendlehaven and Teetering Peaks.

  1. OK, fine, there's enough card variety, but I'm bummed that I can't play my favorite cube archetype.

Answer: Poppycock! Want to play a control deck? Hide behind a wall of Kobalds with Kher Keep and ping them to death with
Shivan Gorge while keeping yourself alive with gainlands like Dismal Backwater. Aggro is supported as well with cards like
Pendlehaven, Raging Ravine, Ramuncap Ruins and Blinkmoth Nexas. Or you can go wide with Castle Ardenvale and
Vitu-Ghazi the City-Tree. Love mill? Check out Inpu Rivulet, Duskmantle, House of Shadow and Nephalia Downyard.
Drawn to Stax? Then how about Wasteland and [Rix Maadi, Dungeon Palace]]. And if you can't wait to assemble a sweet combo,
there are many, for example take a look a Dust Bowl and Drownyard Temple for a recursive way to destroy anything in the
format.

Anyway, the list is new, but I just wanted to share the idea with others. I've already noticed that there's a few cards that don't
really do anything, and several others that may be considered like the "power mine" of the format. Since the goal isn't really
balance, I'm not super worried about it, but will likely remove cards that simply blank anything the opponent can do.

Hope you enjoyed the read and feel free to provide feedback and suggestions!
