Trying to recreate the environment when I used to play a lot (2002-ish extended) within the confines of 126 cards (the original idea was to stick with 90 cards). These have become premodern staples since, though I did add two enemy fetches for balancing the mana. Also note that vampiric tutor and entomb are banned in premodern while they are included here, so I'm using the term liberally.
This cube is designed with Winston Draft in mind. This uses 90 cards creating some variety in the card pool each game and players only see about 50% of the cards in the pool while drafting. Though a 14 pack grid draft, with perfect information for both players, is also possible. While this typically is 18 packs the absence of red and white cards allow fewer rounds while still having enough cards to build a coherent deck. 126 cards plus 18 of each required basis land comes down to 180 card total which comfortably fits a dual deckbox and can be brought easily. (I'll be using proxies for the costly cards so something I can put in my backpack and take easily without worrying about the cost)
There is a graveyard matters theme. With madness/threshold, psychatog control, the rock midrange and, reanimation. While limited to three colors there are a few options as there are many overlapping cards between archetypes.
