Inspired by Andy Mangold's 100 Ornithopters cube; his idea looked very fun, and I want to play in the sandbox too! So if 1 cube with 100 Ornithopers wasnt enough, here is another cube with 100 more Ornithopter's!

Ornithipters in this cube are numbered 1 through 100. When a player wins, the last ornithopter that was needed for victory gets credited for the game winning kill. Thopters have a star sticker on them for each 10 kills they have obtained. Kill count chart at the bottom of walkthrough:

equipment:

One of the base level stragies players can focus on in this cube is to put equipments on your Ornithopters to make them strong enough to beat your opponets ornithopters. Some equipments are strong on their own like Loxodon Warhammer while other pieces of equipment like Stoneforge Masterwork and Sigil of Valor are stronger the more Ornithopters you have on the battle field. White has some key cards that allow you to both find equipment as well as equip them to your creatures for free or discounted amounts. These chetty ways to equip creatures is a key way to take advanatge of some very scary cards like Colossus Hammer.

Example Equipment:

Examples of Equipment support cards:

Examples of Colossus Hammer Combo:

aura:

Along with equipments, arua's are another way that you can make your ornithopters stronger. A couple of these standouts are cards like Rancor that can continue to come back so you can put them on more Ornithopters. Some aura's like totem armor can be another strong way to keep your creature alive even after it would take leathal damge. Lastly some auras like Draconic Destiny give your Ornithopters fire breathing so you can pump them up with your mana to be evern stronger.

Examples of Aura's:

counters:

Another way to make your creatures stronger is to put +1/+1 counters on to your Ornithopters. Some key cards like harden scales allow you to add an additional +1/+1 counter on your Ornithopters. There are also a number of lands that will put counters on Ornithopters that entered the battlefield this turn.

Examples of +1/+1 counter cards:

Lands that give +1/+1 counters:

anthems:

Putting multiplue anthem enchantments on the battlefield and stacking them is another way to make your Ornithopters stronger then your opponets. Some of the stronger anthems are the colorless artifacts. While they cost more mana they can have a large impact on the game.

Examples of Enchantments:

Examples of Artifact Anthems:

toughness as power:

Ornithopters have 2 toughness and no power, so an intresting way to take advantage of that is to use their toughness as their power. A couple of cards allow you to do this in the cube.

Examples:

damage from attacking

Since ornithopters have no power, one of the ways they can deal damage is by using enchantments that deal damage when ever a creature, or a small creature attacks.

Examples of damage permanents:

etb damage:

Another way to kill your opponet with Ornithopters, is to take advantage of spells that deal damage to the opponet when ever one enters the battlefield on your side of the game. Blinking the thopters, or sacrificing them and returning them back are other good ways to tie into this strategy.

ETB damage examples:

sacrifice damage:

Sacrificing Ornithopters for damage is another way they can be used to finish off your opponet

Examples of sacrifice spells:

bounce:

A very important way to both win as well as save your Ornithopters from being destoryed is being able to return them to your hand so they can be recast. Bounce and blink spells give you the ablity to do these things.

Examples of Bounce spells:

mass destruction:

What better way to win then to destory as many thopters in one shot as you can!

Examples of Mass Destruction:

reanimate:

Bringing thropters back lets you reuse them to attack some more or to keep triggering your diffrent combo engines you have built.

Examples of reaimate spells:

effective card draw:

You will need to find Ornithopters out of your libary to make your effects work, so effective ways to draw them can be important for your deck.

Examples of effective card draw:

thopters as mana:

One of the ways to play bigger cards, or more cards faster, is to use your thopters as mana sources.

Examples:

stop opponets thopters:

There are a few spells that are very effective of dealing with your opponets thopters while leaving yours potential in place.

Examples:

artifact destruction:

Lots of artifacts that you need to get rid of makes artifact removal very strong. Level up secret is that all the thopters are artifacts so therefore all creatures die to artifact removal.
