I fell in love with the proliferate cube, designed by Carmen Handy, when it first came out on MTGO three years ago. I drafted it over 30 times in one week, and decided to assemble the pieces to put it together in paper myself. This fully foiled out beauty is my pride and joy, and I made some significant changes from last year’s 540 cube. Gone are all of the pieces of mana acceleration, and everybody is going to be playing at the same speed, in an attempt to slow down gameplay. I've deviated somewhat from carmen's design philosophy, but i have implemented a lot of her updates while keeping a little bit of my own twist on the cardlist.

Mana has been adjusted, with the removal of filter lands, a bunch of utility lands, and vivids, as well as the reduction of artifact bridge lands and creature lands from every color pair. Now each color pair has a single color associated nonbasic land, for example, gruul keeps the classic raging ravine, but the esper and grixis colors have an artifact bridge land, simic gets litjara mirrorlake, selesnya has gavony township, and golgari gets ifnir deadlands and oran rief the vastwood.

GW-Scales, add counters, add more counters, and proliferate and go big. Grindy and explosive.

UW- artifact subtheme, a little bit of blink, and proliferation.

UB- counter manipulation and movement, artifact subtheme featuring multiple scissors effects.

RB- artifact sacrifice, and general sacrifice.

RG- gruul counters go big and smash, proliferation

BW- sacrifice and proliferation

UR- artifacts and proliferation

GB- sacrifice and counters

RW- artifacts and counters

UG- counters and proliferation
