Theory:
Synergy focused, cards in the cube encourages mix and match of cards that go well together but are not combos, it encourages you to play 2 color maybe splashing a 3rd.

Promotes mid-range as the best archetype, 2 color decks are more consistent overall, but 3 color decks will have stronger cards and better card quality.
