A battle box with some very particular rules!

Namely:

1. Each player pulls 40 cards from the box to form their starting library. If they would draw from an empty library, they may pull an additional 20 cards from the box. This does not replace drawing their card(s).

2. Players begin the game with 25 life.

3. For an easy game, each player begins with five cards in hand. You can increase the difficulty by increasing starting hand size to seven.

4. Each player may promote a Legendary creature card from their hand to the command zone. This promotion is a sorcery-speed action the player can only take once during the game. If commander tax would cause their commander's mana value to exceed 10, it becomes 10 instead.

5. Each player begins the game with ten shock-lands in their command zone. They may play one land from their command zone each turn.
