This is an all-foil Artisan (or Peasant) Budget Vintage cube. Cards may be used if they have ever been printed as foil commons or uncommons.

Back in 2013 I was playing a LOT of standard. My LGS gave out door prizes and consolation prizes if you didn't win. They usually consisted of a bucket of random foils. After collecting a few hundred common/uncommon foils from opening packs and consolation prizes, I found they kind of worked in synergy with each other. The power level was pretty low, but it seemed to work well as a "starter" cube I nicknamed "The Crap Foils Cube." I have been told to cut one of the words from time to time so I call it "The Chaos Foils Cube" because it plays like a chaos draft.

I try not to add cards simply because they'd be "good" for the cube. The spirit of the cube is "Whatever random foil commons and uncommons I get my hands on."

As time has gone on, I have swapped cards for other synergies including graveyards, tokens, spellslingers, +1/+1 counters, equipment, burn, and artifact matters subthemes. This is my current 2025 iteration with 720 cards.
