General
The HY Synergy Cube aims for a mostly balanced and fun play experience. In practice this means that games should not be decided by a single spell, are generally won through combat and decks tend to be on the more synergistic side instead of 5c good stuff piles.

I try not to shoehorn every two-color combination into a dedicated archetype. The risk of such a set-up is that after a while all decks start to resemble eachother and drafts can feel on rails. Instead every archetype should be viable in most color combinations. Of course some archetypes are more viable in certain combinations than others.

At this moment the supported archetypes are:
In addition to these archetypes more general macro-archetypes like aggro, tempo, ramp and control are possible as well. Lastly, +1/+1-counters and some tribal synergies are supported as well. These synergies are often used as a subtheme for the more supported archetypes.
Restrictions
The only restriction for the cube is that all cards have to be in the modern card frame 'for aesthetic reasons'. That being said, I aim for a modern-cube-ish power level. This leads to cards, like Fractured Identity, not being included for power level reasons.
