This is a low-powered cube built around 3-color themes and is designed to be drafted by 4-8 people. This cube is focused more on tempo, which means there are more cards such as combat tricks, and less value engines such as planeswalkers.
Primary Themes Esper Control (WUB)This needs little introduction, just good, old fashion control that wins with a big finisher like Sphinx of the Steel Wind.
Mardu Tiny Reanimator (WBR)The second theme is a twist on a popular aristocrat theme, but rather than focusing on creatures dying it focuses on bringing them back. This plays like a resilient aggro deck where you're constantly bringing back your strongest creature, while having the flexibility to abuse utility creatures in the aggro mirror.
Naya Landfall (WRG)Next up is landfall. Green is the core color for extra land drops, but you can skew red for a more aggressive deck or white for more midrange.
Sultai Ninjas (UBG)This plays somewhere between tempo and midrange. UB ninjas isnt new to cube, but green adds pump spells to keep your opponent guessing, and some creatures with more unique forms of evasion.
Temur GrowThe last theme is modeled after the old miracle grow and monkey grow decks. You're looking to pair removal and cantrips with creatures that grow as you cast instants and sorceries. This plays as a pure tempo deck, and counter spells should be valued very high since they double as protection for your few creatures.
Secondary Themes Abzan ToolboxA twist on the mardu reanimation theme from above. Green gives access to more utility creatures and self mill, letting your unearth effects be much more flexible while playing.
Bant MidrangeThis is all about outvaluing your opponents with 2-for-1s and abusing what few value engines are in the cube (most notably Tamiyo).
Grixis TempoPrimarily a BR aggro deck that uses blue for access to counter spells and ninjas to help against midrange.
Jeskai Hybrid ControlA control deck that wants to turn the corner early, and turn it hard.
Jund RockEfficient Creatures and removal. When in doubt...
SubthemesThese are some small packages of cards that enable whole archetypes on their own, but don't have or require as much support to be a primary or secondary theme.
Rx WildfireThis cube already makes use of the signets for mana fixing, so adding Wildfire and Burning of Xinye allows the "Wildfire" deck to exist. It's a deck that uses signets to ramp out a quick Wildfire to clear the board, ideally leaving your opponent with no lands while your signets leave you with access to 3-4 mana. So far the most successful builds have been drafted like 4-color control that rely more on artifacts for fixing than lands.
UG FlashThis package is composed of Dream Eater, Nightpack Ambusher, and Surrak Dragonclaw. This deck relies heavily on counterspells, and focuses on playing a very reactive game until you can find a moment to flash in a finisher while your opponent is tapped out. It can be effective as a twist on the Temur Grow theme, but it can also work well in a bant or sultai shell as well to be more controlling.
