The cube is meant to have a D&D theme revolving around creature types, dragons, and silver cards to represent the silliness that happens at the game table. Every color and two color combination has a dragon heading the colors. Here are the themes of the color pairs:

- Take the chance and roll some dice with Farideh, Devil's Chosen
- Run the woods with elves and their leader Lathril, Blade of the Elves
- Dwarves wielding their craft headed by Bruenor Battlehammer
