The Pre-Modern Battlebox is a 2-player limited environment focused on nostalgia. I have friends who are lapsed Magic players who enjoy playing but no longer have any strong desire to learn the recent cards/mechanics/etc. I've been long trying to figure out the best way to engage with these friends and play along an axis that would be enjoyable for them, and this is what I've come up with.

The entire list, plus lands for each player, can currently fit in a Sidewinder 100, which is why I've cut it down to this small of a list.

This is a traditional battlebox, and uses the most common set of battlebox rules:

• Each Player begins with one of each basic and 5 allied tap lands in the command zone
• The entire card pool is shuffled and divided into two decks
• On their turn, a player may play a land from the command zone
