This is a cube designed to showcase my favorite Magic setting: Ravnica! I wanted to make a playable yet flavorful cube including each of the ten guilds as they have been presented across different sets throughout the game’s history.
Design Goals:
Each guild pair has a gameplay identity that is distinct and enjoyable to play. The power level is above your average retail limited set – power should come from meaningful synergy between cards, not individually powerful cards. Guild strategies should be immediately apparent to a new drafter. The cube has depth and replayability – each draft reveals new interactions.
