This is a medium-powered, multiplayer commander cube designed to be drafted in 20 card packs for 60 card decks using the Commander Legends format. This cube runs each partner commander excluding the tribal-focused ones, so white has one more mono-colored partner than the other colors.

The cube is 800 cards to reflect the larger packs and decks (an 800 card cube for 60 card decks is roughly equal to a 532 card cube for 40 card decks). I have specifically avoided certain cards (like the commander-ubiquitous Sol Ring and other fast mana) for my own specific balancing reasons and focused on looser archetypes and broader synergies to allow for a more plug-and-play focused deck design. I also leaned heavily on artifacts as an archetype that is viable in all colors. I prefer games to progress organically with no one leaping out the gate in a lopsided manner and I also don't like games to end abruptly, so I prefer to avoid finishers like Blightsteel and Eldrazi Titans while giving people access to powerful engine cards like Channel and Fastbond. I have also limited infinite combos - there are a few there, but you will have to work for them.

The multicolored section has each of the available partner commanders as well as some commanders that are popular for the color combination or make for interesting builds in the multiplayer environment. There is one commander for each three color combination and three commanders who can helm five color decks.

There are some cards included that are banned in the main Commander format - these are among cards that I don't feel like should be banned and/or I feel like will be less powerful/potentially problematic in a draft format.

2/17/25 update:

After running multiple sessions with this cube, I have switched to seeding packs with the following breakdown: 2-3 multicolored and/or partner commanders, 2 white cards, 2 blue cards, 2 black cards, 2 red cards, 2 green cards, 2 artifacts, 2 dual lands, 3 wild cards, 0-1 mana-fixing cards.

I have also made adjustments to hopefully make mono-colored decks and even colorless decks viable and added a few draft-matters cards. Part of the goal of the cube is to go where the normal commander format can't typically go, and these cards help facilitate the unique experience I'm going for.

Finally, I have attempted to raise the power level floor of this cube. I'm not pushing it into a more competitive space, but I am trying to eliminate the weakest outliers.
