This is a enemy color-pair cube that has some of my favorite mechanics and draft themes throughout magic history.

- Prison, Extort - Drain your opponents to death while grinding their gameplans to a halt. This archetype features powerful hate cards and death-by-attrition cards such as Liesa, Shroud of Dusk and classic prison effects like Ghostly Prison.

- Elves, Discard - Flood the board with everyone's favorite Alpha tribe, Elves! Use powerful new cards like Tyvar Kell and old favorites like Nath of the Gilt-Leaf to deplete your opponent's resources .

- Tempo, +1/+1 Counters - It wouldn't be a simic draft archetype without a healthy smattering of +1/+1 counters. With personal favorite Managorger Hydra and other miracle-grow friends, resolve a threat and keep it safe in order to out-value your opponents with engines like Prophet of Kruphix!

- Spellslinger/Storm, Flashback - Do you dislike creatures? Do you wish you could just cast Ponders all day until you hit a big dumb payoff like Thousand-Year Storm? Strap on your safety goggles, its time to force storm!

- Aggro, Heroic - Is storm too much work for a strategy that doesn't always go the distance? Try beating your opponents to death with Goblin Guide and friends! With card like Feather, the Redeemed and Hero of the Nyxborn, your pump spells are sure to be a massive headache for your opponent (and even a source of card advantage!)
