Welcome To The Bant Cube!
This cube was inspired by my love for the Bant colors. I play Bant in every format including pioneer, modern, legacy, and commander. I also often tend to draft it in cube. Therefore, when I was saw people making 3 colors cubes, it felt like a no-brainer for me.
This primary restriction for this cube is the only available basic lands at the end of the draft are Plains, Island, and Forest. However, there are some cards with off color mana pips in their text box such as Chatterfang, Squirrel General and Golos, Tireless Pilgrim, so drafting ways to make black and red mana are advised.
Despite excluding two primary colors of Magic, this cube still delivers a gameplay experience akin to that of a Legacy Cube in terms of power level and excitement. There are a wide range of combo decks, such as Rosie Cotton of South Lane combined with Scurry Oak, and Eternal Witness combined with Time Warp and Ephemerate. This cube is also very focused on highly interactive magic, where you can expect counterspells, removal spells, and other forms of interaction to be plentiful.
Many widely differing archetypes exist in this cube, including mono-colored, dual-colored, and fully Bant strategies. Aggro, Control, Midrange, and Combo decks are all fully supported. Here are some examples of the many archetypes you can expect to see:
