Here are some bite-size notes on the big changes in V2.

White

  • Less Prison/Stax
  • More Aggro
  • Higher quality removal

Blue

  • Less Storm creatures
  • Less creatures that gum up Aggro
  • More Kiki-Jiki combo
  • More Tempo

Black

  • Less Storm
  • More Aggro
  • More Hand Disruption
  • More & higher quality Reanimator

Red

  • Less Big Red
  • Less Storm (you seeing a theme?)
  • More Aggro

Green

  • Less Aggro
  • More Ramp/Midrange

Multi-Color

  • More interaction

Colorless

  • Less Storm
  • Less Eldrazi
  • More flexible options

Land

  • More answers to problematic lands

General decisions on this update:

  • Support Aggro more heavily in white, red, and black. Removed clasms and low costed big toughness to make sure it can develop and win in its crucial turns.
  • Beefed up Reanimator's viability and support, while streamlining its targets.
  • Storm had no payoffs but a bunch of foundational pieces that did not fit well into other archetypes. Cut Storm altogether. Too insidious and fragile.
  • Cleaned up green to be more Ramp and Midrange, less random aggression.
  • Focused Tinker/Channel/Sneak Attack style decks with more streamlined targets and more support.
  • Pulled Big Red down to focus Red on Aggro and it's ability to use Burn to close out games.

Still a lot of changes to be made, but this was a big one!
