Here is the official update for the playtest proxies including new images and oracle text in the notes.

We are officially removing the friends forever cards, and switching to the same partner rule as commander masters. From what I have tested and seen it works extremely well for limited and allows us to free up spots previously used on cards that were only good to fix colors. Now instead we have added some fun enchantments to each color and a little flash package!
The other exciting update is the playtest cards, the first 5 of these changes as well as chatterstorm are now similarlarly costed playtest cards from various Gavin Verhey unknown events. Oracle text can be found in the description as well as an image.

Here are some card version updates post Magic Fest Las Vegas! We now have real versions of Academy and Force of Negation as well as a couple signed cards. There are a few changes to some cards that have been in the cube since v1, specifically Corrupted Conscience out for Dream Halls as the 5 mana blue enchantment slot.

The cube has long been past the power level where the the odd shrine is playable, and it simply is not being drafted enough to take up 17 spots in the cube. With the updates that come with price drops from CMM we are removing the shrines from the cube, but many of the other enchantment themes are still present. For now we are going to let the enchantress theme stay, but now contained just to green white, maybe branching out to black at tome point in the future.

This will also come with its own post but we are changing the way the partner rule works while drafting. We will be following the CMM rules of every mono colored legend has partner and will soon be taking a majority of the partners in the cube out for higher powered staples now that we don't need to maintain the partner quota.

Here we have a few card that we are heavily considering and thinking about adding, along with a few version changes. None of these are in place yet but I really like where this would put the cube. Let me know if you you have any thoughts/ opinions on these cards. Most of these will go in over shrine and enchantment themed cards since that archetype is getting a bit outdated and underpowered for the rest of the cube.
