One of my favorite underrated tribes in Magic are rogues. They have such a great playstyle to them that really rewards cheap tricks and deft handiwork to get ahead. I decided to forgo multiple rares with this one and include Bitterblossom instead. It's a strong card and while not the only thing that can help this pack succeed, it is very powerful, esp in a limited environment.

This one was a tough nut to crack and I went through several iterations before landing on the jankiest one yet. The original pack had no core theme other than it looked "volcanic." To help the theme, I tried for mountains matter and landfall triggers, with a visit from our favorite friend, Koth of the Hammer! There are hardly any creatures, so the tradeoff to having a mythic planeswalker in a non-planeswalker pack is that you'll be hard-pressed to protect him.

I liked the route the original pack explored in extra draw with downside, and I wanted to add further support here. I also like devil tokens as a concept, and there isn't much good support for them. Ergo, to sate both ends, I added Geier Reach Sanitarium and Tibalt, Rakish Instigator to the pack while keeping the rest much the same. Along with the others, we will see if adding additional lands does not hurt the packs, or inadvertently strengthen them.
