Aren't going to order any other as they have enough cards I don't want for this cube. This one is a banger left and right and hits both a nostalgia factor for me (I have drawn many entries from the monster manual here as a child), as well as gameplay.

Going to start moving some cards away from colorless and into other colors.

This card allows for background removal, the same mode as plummet, and supports the newish food theme.

Update time! After much thinking, I have decided to cut most 2mv mana rocks in favor of more fixing lands. This brings the fixing land count close to 13% of the cube, which I think is a good number to hit. I'd rather people be able to make those off color-identity splashes or play their colors easier than accelerate gameplans.

Also, with lowering the curve, I would much rather incentivize players to make more impactful 2-3 mana plays that affect the board.

Also, food! Adding about 20 cards that care about food. Primarily in Green, secondary in white and black. Feels on theme for the cube, and if the theme works out well, I can add back some cards I cut that care about life gain, like The Book of Exalted Deeds, which I was always sad about cutting.

Note on color sorting for this split adventure cards. They will be under their main creature half color. Color identity concerns was my main reason in being hesitant to add these cards. Without this, they are infinitely more splashable and playable in the cube.

Going to (try) and track version numbers now. If the version we just drafted Mar 19th. 2024 was "version 1..". This is version 2. Minor updates (like small tweaks) will be tracked in minor versions.

Goal of this update:

1. More removal (wipes and spot)
2. Lower curve
3. Remove niche effects
4. Add more bodies

If an effect can be on a creature (or better yet, on an adventure on a creature) I will be preferring it from now on. I realized that bodies on board matter a lot in this format.

Most of these removals fit into the above categories and will be tucked away in case the format misses these effects.

I thought I budgeted out -38 cards +38 cards but for some reason I came out +37. I added [Edgewall Inn] as a replacement but be on the look out for a minor version update after I can see the math.
