The cycling mode of miscalculation was never used, so I figured to replace it with condescend for additional scry and card selection in blue.

Blue in general is weak, and I'm not sure how to improve it. Sage of Epityr is a possible addition; it's a good one drop blocker with upside, but it does give blue access to a non-combo turn 2 combat win, which I'm not sure I want to be enabled in monoblue. Rush of Ice is another solid choice, with the upside of being playable lategame as a sort of win condition. Again, this gives blue easier access to early combat wins- especially as an easy one mana "removal" for a blocker- but I'm not sure that's a bad thing tbh.

Bitterblade Warrior was originally introduced as a way to deal with the high toughness blockers in blue, with added bonus as a combo win enabler with any trample-granting green card. But, since then, I've removed kraken hatchling because it was too good as a wall, so answers to that wall lose priority in the list. Kavu predator seems a different sort of hate card, and even without the lifegain text its baseline as a 2/2 trample for 2 mana leaves it a good card for green builds anyway.

Navigator's Compass is still on my watch-list as too potent. I love the color fixing it gives, but mana cylix alone is very lackluster. It's possible I'll just need to find a different colorless card for that spot- quite possibly lightning-core excavator. Another possible future change would be swapping out healing grace. The first card on my list to replace it would be Light of Hope, but I'm concerned about the +1/+1 counter mode being a huge blowout in many games. Maybe Grace just needs to be knocked all the way down to Healing Salve, and we leave it at that.
