Starting to identify the first pass to bring down the power level and efficiency of removal.
See if this does anything. Certainly a lot cooler.
Tired of fetches and interested to see how this plays. It’s possible this will be reverted back to a more “standard” assortment of fixing lands, but may as well try some shit!
Cleaning up some ugly stuff - no more Delirium. May make a similar pass at Fetches + things like Delve and Tarmogoyf eventually. We'll see.
Not sure about this last round of changes. It's possible most of these slots should be additional fixing lands, but I'm having difficulty deciding on a cycle. I considered og duals, but I've been sitting on those as replacements in the event I decide to remove fetches.
Maelstrom Wanderer might never see play, but he's really sweet, so he gets a shot. Was looking at some other stuff like Leovold, but the elf can be annoying and would prefer to try something different.
Was thinking about adding one additional card of each color, but thinking the manlands might be more impactful. The split I've chosen here admittedly isn't the cleanest, but I'm worried that Lair and Hall might be a little too much.
Trying to embrace wabi-sabi here and just send some stuff and see how it goes. :)
More Gold changes.
Kutzil is solid, but reads like a fucking nightmare, which is the exact opposite of what this cube is about. I'm worried Beastrider might be a bit too weak/have 0 appeal in packs, so I may end up swapping it for something pushed like Trostani just to get people to play the Selesnya.
Vindicate is the cleanest card, but leads to some feels bad scenarios. Unburial Rites is similarly clean, sports an iconic keyword, and will hopefully bolster Gifts.
Removing Find/Finality, as it was the only split card in the cube. Not in love with these other Golari changes, but hard to find elegant options.
Unifying white enchantment-based removal templating.
