The cube is currently undergoing heavy renovations. I'm changing the way I break singleton, going from 3 copies of each common, 2 of each common, with 2 "pillar" cards per color that heavily support multiple archetypes of certain color combinations. (ie Faithless Looting in Red works for self mill, discard and flashback so gets 4 slots).
Adding Firefright Mage to give every color a cheap repeatable discard outlet at common. Evasion is also rare in the cube, giving it will grant R ways to break boardstalls.
Insolent Neonate mainly existed in limited to fuel delirium, which is absent from my cube.
I wanted to give more payoff for self milling strategies that care about graveyard size, rather than using the graveyard as a resource. Threshold fit the bill, and gives me more old border cards to play with. I might add even more in the future.
Centaur Chieftain breaks the ETB rule, but only half of the time. Plus I felt an overrun effect is something green needs to break locked up boardstates.
Honored Hydra feels too much like Roar of the Wurm. I'm replacing it with Krosan Beast to keep the fatty count up.
