I wanted one more looting effect to balance things out, I wanted it to be an artifact to keep the artifact count high, and the card it was replacing was mana fixing and ramp. Relic of sauron fits the bill, adds mana in the colors that care about looting, but may overall be too powerful. On the watchlist for sure.
Artful dodge having flashback is a little better than saving 1 mana and 2 potential points of damage. Looting it away and setting up a big turn later when you have zada or mirrow wing dragon is choice, not to mention now only half the spell gets blanked from a removal in response.
Valiant works better than flash in this cube since it synergizes with both tempo and equipment archetypes. Both have interaction + recursion shenanigans.
540 cards wasn't working. No matter how much I refined the list and included duplicate effects, variance was still screwing people over.
So... welcome to 360 cards! Now guaranteeing that that specific card is opened every time.
Removing a lot of the Modern Horizons cards for powered-down things that server somewhat the same function. They're just too good, as others have pointed out. This cube is supposed to lean toward synergy, not goodstuff.dec piles.
I've also added more removal and a few more board wipes at the cost of raw card advantage.
Reanimator as an archetype is being watched closely as a lot of the top end of the cube as been gutted. It may need a bit more power btu that is a change for another day.
Removing the draft-matters cards, trying out "everyone gets a cogwork librarian" style of draft.
Cutting down on two of the domain cards due to the buff from getting dual lands.
Some other low-picks traded out for new spice.
Some changes to the mana base. Bought some actual duals for the cube. Cutting down a little on the 2 color lands to add some single color utility lands.
