I hate these lands, but they just feel like they are perfect for the cube. That makes no sense, and I will probably come around in time (I hated the triomes too but here we are).
Having basic lands types is such a boon to things like Tribal Flames, Territorial Kavu etc, particularly in the enemy colour combinations.
Only running a few where they feel like a net positive. Replacing the two temples I was already running with Undercity Sewers and Thundering Falls, and adding Underground Mortuary land to tie in with the graveyard theme. These are all colour combinations that will benefit from graveyard synergies and/or from the card selection.
I am also swapping Sunken Hollow for Underground River just to balance out the lands with basic types a little, but also to slightly tweak the frequency of lands entering tapped.
I am considering adding Hedge Maze, probably over Hinterland Harbor and Shadowy Backstreet over Shambling Vent, but I am not convinced just yet. As much as RW would like the extra land types, Elegant Parlor is just not where Boros decks want to be.
More darling killing. Cutting the transform cards as they are just more effort than they are worth. The only one I am sad to see go, really, is JVP, but Emry is a worthy replacement.
Also looking to slightly shift down the number of creatures, in place of some interesting test cards, such as Faith's Reward and Edge of Autumn. Faith's Reward and Emry also encourage some eggs-like decks, so Pyrite and Aether Spellbomb become more interesting
Seems like an easy slot for the UB decks. Faerie synergies, cheap, evasive, card selection and scales well thanks to the clone ability which synergises with self-mill strategies.
Less MH1/2, more OG!
Tinkerin'
Moving out some of the less 'classic' feeling cards and tweaking some curves.
Trialling some 5C support expansion. This requires breaking symmetry on the number of cards in each of the guild slots, but I am okay with that. I need to rip off that bandaid!
Accidentally added to main instead of maybe. Whoops!
