I began my journey as a cube aficionado in 2010. At first, it was a way for my friends and I to play with old cards similar to the birth of EDH. Eventually it evolved into an obsession. This cube is my Mona Lisa. It is the culmination of years of work. At first I began tracking cards and changes to this cube in Excel. It was a lengthy process, but fortunately tools like Cube Cobra and Cube Tutor assisted me in my endeavor. I've been told I have a hard time letting things go and that I hold onto my childhood, this cube is a symbol of that. It is fair to say I have a soft spot for old cards. Initially I gathered every new card that was slotted into the Magic Online Legacy Cube and made room for it in my own cube. I did this until about 2020 when I took a hiatus from Magic. In 2023 I returned and my passion for cube drafting flourished. In 2024 I made the decision to roll this cube back to 2015. That means that every card within this cube was printed in prior to 2016. I believe doing this gives a chance to old underplayed cards.
