Syr Carah synergises with Top Manipulation and spellslinger

Mostly skimming cards with low pick count. Some power level upgrades.
Shore up landfall, simic flash, and signpost dimir as the king of reanimator
There it is, I finally came around on planeswalkers. I was waiting for Oracle text update on all burn spells. So far it hasn't seemd like a priority for Wotc to make sure players have access to paper cards whose text actually match the rules. I guess I'll have to update my players upfront before drafting the cube, and have a reference list ready at all times for oracle text. Huatli and Jeskai Barricade make the Defenders archetype white-splashable. Saheeli is a great spellslinger payoff, helps artifact ramp, and might gain traction in the future if more artifacts payoff cards make their way in the cube.
Also among the changes are a few cards that take advantage of top-of-library manipulation, an effect which is aplenty in the cube, mostly in simic colors. Cloudform and Svella, Ice Shaper are my picks for now. Good by themselves, yet benefit from clever top-of-library shenanigans if the player can pull them off and feel like a genius.
Void Beckoner discards itself for reanimator, also combos with pigners (Cunning Sparkmage, etc.) and build-your-own-board-wipe with Crypt Rats or Infected Vermin
A few power level updates
Brineborn Cutthroat has semi-prowess, but also fits a defensive/reactive/control play pattern.
Skyturtle is a great simic ramp payoff while never a dead draw early game. It's also a self-discarding reanimation target for dimir or golgari.
I'm betting Mana Drain ain't going to break the cube. Good tempo swing for sure, a little colorless ramp. Should be fiiiine!
How did I miss Library of Alexandria was once uncommon?
Hulking Metamorph checks more archetypes (reanimator, blink, ramp)
Changed my mind on this one, Warden is more splashable & more relevant tribe. Although less aggressive stats make it slightly less good in tempo, still very playable in that build
Some old school favorites!
Land Tax is the most White can expect in terms of card advantage.
Black Vise can punish control decks from a different angle.
Channel is another ramp alternative for green, and potentially comboes with Fireball, an old times favorite of mine.
