Toronto. Learned to play December 2018 (GRN), started my first cube in Fall 2019 (ELD)

Main Projects:

Clean, accessible designs, efficient interaction, and inviting build-arounds.

"What if this is the only way I get to play Magic?
What if this is the only way my friends play Magic?"

A 360 card Eternal Cube balancing my personal preferences with accessibility. First drafted November 2019.

Do something that feels broken, unfair, or mean.

A bar cube for up to six without tokens, counters, shuffling, or sleeves, where you might count the cards in your graveyard or exile them away, but there's no reason to ever read them. First drafted February 2024.

Travel Cubes

A series of cubes designed for 2-4 players. Parameters vary from iteration to iteration, but limits on budget, complexity, tokens, counters

  1. Palm Desert: created December 2019. Jumpstart style. Low complexity, low budget, peasant, no tokens. Disassembled.
  2. Trash Cube I: Pandemic Gardens: created Summer 2021. Low complexity, low budget, peasant, unsleeved, no counters, no tokens. Given away to CC. Currently with DF.
  3. Trash Cube II: Manitoba: created August 2022. Higher complexity and budget, no rarity restriction. No sleeves. No counters, Food tokens only. Given to NJ.
  4. Trash Cube III: The Rehearsal: created January 2023. Not as travel-oriented, specifically built for friends to practice drafting. Given to ML & SH.
  5. Trash Cube IV: Forbidden Trash: created Fall 2023 / Winter 2024. Bar cube-style restraints built around the idea that card text in the graveyard shouldn't matter.
