I started playing Magic in the mid-90s, when I was just a kid. I was completely enthralled by the archaic fantasy art and the card back that looked like an ancient tome. Though I love all formats of Magic - I play Modern, Legacy, EDH, booster draft, and cube - I'm primarily interested in finding ways to relive the feeling I had when I first encountered Magic. For this reason I have an Retro Frame cube and Pauper Cube (because I like the Pauper power level and the Legacy-legal cards in it). I have also been working on a Snow Cube that aims to capture the vibe of Frazetta-like Sword & Sorcery pulp fiction.
