Hello!

The goal of this cube was to provide a very board-based combat experience, with no infinite combos and plenty of interaction in order to have a fun back and forth game of Commander.

Draft rules are the same as Commander Legends:

  • 3 packs
  • 20 card packs,
  • 2 cards per pick
  • Players must have a Commander that matches colour identity
  • ALL Mono-Colour Legends have Partner
  • No Legends have Choose a Background
  • Players have access to Prismatic Piper to Fix Colour Identity
  • Final Deck size of 60
  • Play rules are same as normal Commander except with 30 starting health but normal 21 Commander Damage limit

Each two colour guild has a theme associated with it:

  • Azorius w-u - Artifact Tokens
    Blink your creatures and artefacts to create artifact tokens, a mix of servos, thopters and golems. Buff and empower them to smash into your opponents to claim victory.
  • Boros r-w - Populate
    Create token copies of your creatures to double up up on valuable enter the battlefield and attack effects to either run down your enemies with a wide and powerful board or control the board with removal and card draw.
  • Dimir u-b - Looters
    Loot through your deck, discarding valuable pieces into the graveyard and drawing your powerful cards quickly. Either bring back your cards you discard with madness effects or play your reanimate and flashback effects to get extra value our of each and every card in your deck.
  • Golgari b-g - Reanimate
    Mill your library into the graveyard then cheat out your biggest creatures to crush everyone on the field. Even if they die afterwards, you will still have more ways to bring them back.
  • Gruul r-g - Big Power
    Summon creatures with high power then trample over into your enemies health to take them out of the game quickly. If you fail to do so, use their innate power to your advantage with powerful synergy pieces to make your creatures even stronger and overrun the last of their defences.
  • Izzet u-r - Artifact Sacrifice
    Play out your toolbox of artefacts to order the battlefield as you see fit. Either bring them back from the graveyard or create copies of them to create your mighty robotic factory, constantly producing new pieces for the machine.
  • Orzhov w-b - Token Aristocrats
    Summon a wide army of token warriors, sending them into your enemies with little care for their lives. Sacrifice those who remain to damage your opponents and draw out your deck, fueling your army into the late game to keep your army fresh with bodies.
  • Rakdos b-r - Treasures
    Hoard a massive pile of treasure, taking down your opponents with pings for creating or sacrificing them. Burn down their health slowly over the course of the game, ramping up as the game progresses until the pressure is too much and takes them down.
  • Selesnya w-g - Food
    Stockpile your food supply and use them to gain life or sacrifice them to feed your token army of humans and halflings. The more life you gain the more tokens you create and the faster you can overpower the enemy.
  • Simic u-g - Card Draw
    Draw out your entire deck to gain value from having a big hand or from drawing additional cards each turn. Create an army of tokens that you replenish whenever you draw, or buff your creatures that grow the more cards you've drawn in a turn. Your card draw engines are your most valuable pieces so protect them at all costs!
