• Sagas use time counters instead of lore counters. However, The Parting of the Ways still uses lore counters. Sorry, it's a fixed point in time and I'm determined to prevent paradoxes. (It was either this or cut it, and I don't terribly want to cut it.)

• Color identity isn't real. It can't hurt you.

An additional, optional rule when playing with a pod full of Whovians:

• If you can reveal two characters during the draft and convince the table that by cannon they ought to be allowed to partner with each other, then you may use them as partners. Similarly, if you reveal a character during the draft and convince the table they should count as a companion or doctor you may use those cards as such.
