Hey guys, this is a commander cube in the workings. It is designed to support cube draft and commander cube draft.

This cube can support up to 10 players, drafting between 5 to 8 packs per player, depending on how many packs players wish to draft, or what size deck players choose to build. Ideally the minimum deck size should be 70 and the max 100.

There are 1 and 2 color commander options within the cube itself. Partners and 3+ color commanders are outside the cube in a separate commander draft (the list will be at the end). That way there are available commanders for players if they decide:

• they want a 3+ color commander but don’t want to draft one 3 packs in.
• if they don’t draft any legendaries in the draft itself.
• want to run multiple colors after drafting.

Players can also shift in the draft if they want and downgrade to 2 colors if they think that it will give them a better deck. So flexibility is also useful.

There are multiple ways to draft the packs, as there are various strategies and way to achieve a successful deck. For example, players might want to value draft and select the best pack options, while other players may pick cards based on their commander strategy or an archetype.

Players start with a unique starter pack as well of 15 cards:

Sol ring, Commanders sphere, arcane signet, skyclave relic, terramorphic expanse, exotic orchard, armillary sphere, thriving moor, bluff, grove, heath, isle, command tower, sisay’s ring, and rupture spire.

The decision in making these packs was made in regards to whether or not players would want to draft any of these cards specifically. Drafting a sol ring when no one else gets one, especially the same for an arcane signet.
