CUBE BREAKDOWN
No fast mana - Soul Ring will never ever be in this cube. Ever.
80 dedicated commanders - 4 in each 2 color pair, 3 in each 3 color pair, each of the 4 color commanders and 5 WUBRG commanders.
Half of the commanders are drawn out at random and drafted before the main draft, the other 40 are shuffled into the cube and
drafted like any other card. Any legendary in the cube can be your commander, but it is fairly difficult to run a mono-color
legend as your commander, so drafters beware.
60 Card Decks - Although we throw out a lot of our drafted cards, a 60 card deck has proved much more consistent than a 100 card
drafted deck. It's also easy to construct a mana base because of familiarity with constructed formats.
Smaller draft pod - This cube is most commonly drafted by 4 - 5 people at a time, although we have gone up to 8 on occasion. We
usually draft 10 card packs, which works out perfectly with 4. For 5+ people, we auction off the remaining cards 1 at a time using
our starting life totals as currency. The lowest I've ever seen someone go is down to 10 starting life.
Living unpowerd cube - This cube exists in real life, it's grown quite a bit in 5 years but it's still not complete. I have a
philosophy of "proxy with the intent to add". Any cards I add to it would have to be cards I would reasonably be able to add
eventually in real life. So, for now, no power, no duel lands. In 15 years I may revisit this.
Commander rule set- Outside of 60 card decks, this cube follows the commander banlist and all other commander rules.
