What is Party Box?

Party Box is essentially a collection of cards that you love all combined into one playable "cube". While a majority of the cards are from Magic, the Party Box isn't just restricted to them. Cards from all different type of card games and be included and are encouraged to be added with the help of Booster Tutor. How these extra cards will work is all up for you to decide!

Rules for My Party Box

• All players start at 25 life and share a library, graveyard, exile, & command zone
• Players may exile any amount of cards from their opening hand and then draw that many cards as a one-time mulligan.
• Players may play any card face-down as a land that can tap for any mana for their land drop. These face-down cards can be flickered by other effects and returned to play flipped over.
• Cards with no mana cost can be played for free (including cards with Suspense)
• The library cannot be searched or shuffled. If cards need to be put back into the library, they are instead exiled. Searching for land simply draws a card or manifests the top card onto the library if an effect calls for it.
• Cards that feature a card back are treated as wildcards that can be played as any card from that game if it hasn't been played yet. Additionally, these wildcards cannot be cards that instantly end the game in a non-fun way (up to player discretion).
• Cards added via Booster Tutor or other "outside the game" effects must be signed by the player alongside the date and are then permanently added to the Party Box.

My Booster Tutor Rules

• The Party Box's owner will provide a selection of packs for the players to choose from, but players are allowed to provide their own pack to open as well.
• Any non-MTG cards added will work as closely as possible to how they originally work in their own card game. However, cards with no obvious rules text can be errata'd by the players in a way that makes sense mechanically or flavorfully.
• For the most part, only cards with the standard card size will be accepted/considered for the Party Box; so no cards from Yu-Gi-Oh, Cardfight!! Vanguard, Top Trumps, Uno, Tarot Cards etc.
• Only paper cards will be accepted/considered for the Party Box; so no plastic or metal cards.
• Added cards will generally be safe from being cut during any maintenance updates, but can be removed if deemed necessary.
