This is the Brandon Sanderson Cube with all cards needed and all details to know about the cube, feel free to use it, took several months to find out the cards that goes together in the same sleeve, but finally after a long time, there it is.
Firstly, want to mention that this was all constructed by my brother and I, we took several months to find out the things we are going to show in this post. I'm very thankful to have it around to recompile this cube.
The complete Brandon Sanderson Cube with all the details, and some new things that I put because I found it funny. But if you want the OG, I will give you instructions to achieve the original cube. Atleast the version that is similar to Sanderson’s cube.
First, I'm going to talk about the tags on this cube, which are really important to take in mind if you want to create the Sanderson Cube.
Commander: A tag that represents all the cards that can be your commander or can be chosen to be your commander.
Partner: All the cards that have partner in the cube.
Partner with: All the cards that have partner with in the cube. These must go together in the same sleeve, I'm going to talk later about the cards that goes together and how it works.
Foil: All the cards that must be foil. In here I decided to put also a "foil" sticker on cards aswell as for example a clover sticker to represent cards that has more cards on the sleeve. I'm going to talk about the stickers later also.
Silver Border: Cards that must have a silver border, originally they are printed as so, but if you plan to make proxy of some cards or the entire cube, make sure these are silver bordered as well as the old ones in the next tag.
Old: Cards that must have the old border, the ones printed before Mirrodin.
Link: Cards that goes with another or extra cards like regalias. See section "Linked Cards" to know all about this part.
Link-out: Cards that goes with another or extra cards like regalias that are not listed in this list. These are the cards that goes outside the draft, and it the cards that goes with some of the cards with the Link tag.
New: Cards that I decided to put in the cube, just take them off if you want the original Sanderson Cube and important to read the "New implementation" section, and downgrade them as I mention.
There are different types of stickers on cards:
Linked cards are the ones that has more than one card in the same sleeve.
To see which ones are in the same sleeve I'm going to use the image of the back of every card with "Link" tag to show which cards goes together. Every card with "Link" tag will have as a back image the image of all the cards linked to it.
You can see the linked cards by filtering with tag:"Link"
You can see the linked cards that goes out the draft cubeby filtering with tag:"Link-out"
As an example you can see that Zedruu has a back image, this is the cards that if you draft this card the other one or ones that show in the back image are drafted aswell
At the end I will show all the cards that goes together, you can see them aswell in the back image of each one, but just to have an image representation of every one. You can see it in the last section called Link and Link-out
The regalias are the original regalias from the Sanderson Script that you can find in this link expect for new additions documented in the last section "New implementations"
All regalias used for this cube are in this Google Drive link. Compare them with the originals from Sanderson if you want to play only the original cards, because I ended up adding some ideas that I find interesting for the cube.
These are the new implementations we made to this cube, taking balance in mind. Remember that if you want to experience the original Sanderson Cube just make a downgrade of the changes I'm going to list:
These are the cards that if you draft the left card in the pool you get the other from outside the draft. Some are regalias, some are partner with with the drafted card and sometimes additional cards that can be added to your deck.
So to sumerize, in the draft box you should have:
Sorry for some typo I made in this guide or some info I didn't explain very well, but for any doubt about the cube, feel free to comment on the cube or email me to thelordduck22@gmail.com
