About

This is a 2-4 player cube (180 cards) consisting mostly of old school (93/94) cards that have been reprinted into the modern frame. The pool extends to all cards up to Exodus to fill some slots.

This cube started as a copy of PassTurnYourGo's classic 2 player cube and is also heavily inspired by Russfox77's Retro Reprint cube

Drafting

2 players can grid draft. 4 players can draft normally.

Alternatively, you can do a commander draft by randomly or selectively handing out the 5 Elder Dragons (in the Basic Lands list). This will be each player's commander. The players then normal draft, but can only choose cards of their Elder Dragon's identity. Ex. if you draft Nicol Bolas, then you can only draft blue, black and red cards. Card Selection

The cube mostly prioritizes truly old school cards (Alpha up to Fallen Empires). Scryfall query:

The pool extends to Exodus as exceptions in certain cases. Scryfall query:

Exceptions are generally for cards that have a similar effect to a card that has not been reprinted or is unplayable. Criteria for exceptions exist as:

Combination = This card has the effect of two or more old school cards in one.
Replacement = Either a functional reprint or very close to the original.

Looming shade replaces Frozen shade
Glorious Anthem replaces Crusade
Story Circle combines all Circle of Protections
