Design Principles
360-card singleton cube.Even colour/guild distribution. Most guilds have 2 gold and 1 hybrid card.
No ante or dexterity cards.
No conspiracies.
Includes some draft-matters cards and silver-bordered cards that work within black-bordered rules.
Companion cards are played as originally intended, without WotC's inelegant functional errata.
Archetypes
Aggro - monoR, monoW, monoB, BW lurrus
Midrange - monoG, blue-based tempo, lands-matter, artifacts-matter, goodstuff midrange
Control - blue-based control
Combo - reanimator, cheatyface, boros twin
Aims to support and balance the main 3 archetypes of aggro, midrange and control in multiple colour combinations."2-colour archetypes" not strictly defined or signposted.
"Combo" decks like reanimator and cheatyface are supported, but are less consistent than the main macro-archetypes (i.e. higher ceiling, lower floor).No Storm combo supported. Minimal midrange synergy archetypes (e.g. no blink, aristocrats, etc).Not aiming for overuse of hypergeometric/minimal variance design.
