Aims:

• Capture the feel of old-school magic, ie. powerful enablers and weaker payoffs
• Powerful hate cards and single-card buildarounds are to be expected
• New lands that are printed in old-border are allowed, and singleton is broken on several lands to improve gameplay experience
• Modern cards that match these principles can be included, ex. Condescend and Fell Specter

• Storm, with Stroke of Genius and Tendrils of Agony as a win-condition
• Pandemonium/Fires of Yavimaya + Saproling Burst combo

Cards may not:

• Reference card types printed in the modern era, such as equipment or planeswalkers
• Reference card mechanics from the modern area
• Drastically impact the flow of the game, such as initiative and monarch
• Be at an inappropriate power level matching the rest of the cube (determined by vibes)
