This cube focuses on providing something approximating a souped-up retail limited experience. It's easy enough to navigate for newer drafters, but contains "pockets of synergy" that allow cube veterans to find unexpected interactions.
The cube is singleton, with the exception of two copies of each guildgate.
Most games will be won or lost playing "fair Magic" during the combat step, although there are certainly a few combos to be assembled by the observant drafter.
ARCHETYPES:
Azorius - go wide with flyers and tokens
Orzhov - can be a lifegain/lifeloss "bleeder" style deck or can lean more towards aristocrats; has enough depth to build around +1/+1 counter synergies or reanimator packages
Dimir - control w/ plenty of graveyard shenanigans
Izzet - mostly spellslinger, but has different builds. Could be spellslinger aggro or go more control oriented with artifact value pieces.
Rakdos - aristocrats or aggro, typically.
Golgari - classic "The Rock" midrange value; has a much more aggressive +1/+1 counter build
Boros - fun police aggro with some extra late-game gas from Lorehold-y graveyard stuff
Gruul - stompy with a non-Human theme
Selesnya - may be the most flexible color pair; primary build is +1/+1 counters. Can easily play as go-wide tokens or with a Human theme
There's also support for a mostly /x Goblin deck, and a
/x Superfriends build.
Greedy cubers (and who among us isn't?) can shoot for 3-or-4 color builds leveraging the best +1/+1 counter payoffs or Party payoffs.
