Lucerne Cube is a budget-friendly peasant cube consisting of powerful commons and uncommons from throughout Magic's history. It's primarily based around colour pairs, but several pairs have tertiary colors that further bolster their gameplan.

Retired for being too good!

• Mother of Runes - Too good in W aggro
• Isochron Scepter - Too many good cheap counterspells and burn spells
• Pyrokinesis - Allowed RG ramp to ramp for free and wipe out opposing aggro
• Reanimate - Too fast reanimation
• Monarch cards e.g. Feast of Succession - Monarch is annoying in 1v1

• Burn spells and burn creatures e.g. Flametongue Yearling; RW aggro is probably the best deck in the cube in part because of extremely efficient removal and hard to block creatures. It probably doesn't also need to have 2-for-1 creatures like this.
• Insidious Roots - This thing slotted into the cube shockingly easily and might be a little too good with Persist creatures and various other forms of recursion
