...but I got fed up with same-looking multicolor midrange soup decks.

GENERAL NOTES

Legacy+, (aiming to be) low curve, archetype-oriented (but not excluding the goodstuff greed piles).

SPECIAL RULES

Companions cannot be companion'ed.

FIXING

Triple set of dual-lands (colour pairs that lean more towards control have shock-lands and ABU-duals split as 1:2, while the opposite is true for the rest of the pairings), and triomes (Capenna included) along with the quartet of fetch-lands. Brainstorms, Sensei's Top, Scroll Rack etc., as well as cards that care about sacrificing lands/permanents should be more viable than in an average MTGO-style cube.
