Remember when retail draft was the best we had? I try not to, and yet here we are.

Cards are split into rares (one copy of each), uncommons (three copies each), and commons (a whopping five copies of each!!). There are also two fixing lands, eight Prismatic Vistas and twenty-four Evolving Wilds.

Generally speaking, commons are your bread-and-butter effects--creatures, removal, that sort of thing. Uncommons are where the synergy comes from, and rares are...absolutely busted. Just like in retail draft. The main difference is that here we make sure that the commons don't stink. By raising the floor, we can keep some of the variance of retail draft at bay by ensuring that all decks have the tools to deal with these swingy bombs.
