One Piece Cube

This is a work-in-progress "hack" to capture an MTG-cube-inspired One Piece TCG cube

Cube Design

With strict color-/leader-locking, it would be difficult to create a dynamic drafting environment where multiple drafters are competing over the same strong cards. The singleton nature of the cube also makes decks much less consistent than tournament decks.

To account for these challenges, some rules have been adjusted while playing this cube.

Cube Rules

The official One Piece TCG rules apply with these exceptions:

1. All leaders have all colors
2. All leaders have all card names
3. All leaders have all types
4. All leaders have all attributes
5. All leaders start with 5 life
6. Decks must contain at least 40 cards

Draft Rules

Leader Pack

• Contents: 3 Leaders
• Drafting: Pick 1, Pass (left)

Draft Packs

• Contents: 20 Cards
• Drafting: Pick 2, Pass (right-left-right)

Deck Building

• Choose 1 of your 3 leaders
• Build a deck of at least 40 cards

Recommended Play

• 2 Players: Winston Draft. Build. Best of three. Sideboard after one.
• 3 Players: ???
• 4 Players: Draft. Build. Best of one round-robin.
• 5+ Players: Draft. Build. Best of one Swiss-system bracket.
