MINI MASTERMINDS CUBE
SUMMARY
-Riff on Tiny Leaders Reborn format
-All cards are CMC 3 or less
-Masterminds (https://cubecobra.com/cube/list/a7df51dd-dfe2-4dd4-9d99-63ef331932d7?s1=Color+Category+Full) are a separate card pool. Make packs of 5n masterminds where n equals the number of players drafting. Draft the packs, passing them to the right. Last pick masterminds are removed from the draft.
-Next draft the card pool with 4 packs of 14, or a similar number of total cards in a different combination based on number of players
-Decks are exactly 50 cards, including mastermind(s)
-Starting hand size is 8 minus numbers of masterminds played (Frodo/Sam, etc). Playing partners is treated like an auto-mulligan, but you still see 7 cards before resolving the mulligan.
-One of each Partner with X card is kept separate from the mastermind pool and you automatically receive that card when you draft the other
-For each Nazgul drafted, 2 additional Nazgul are added to your card pool
-20 life
-1v1 BO3 matches
-No color identity restrictions for drafted cards, though you can only add basic lands that match your leader's color identity
-Your mastermind begins in command zone, and you can cast it from there. Your mastermind costs 2 more to cast from the command zone for each time it's been cast from the command zone. If your mastermind were to go into a zone other than your hand from the battlefield, you can instead put it into your command zone.
Overview art is a tribute to the last mastermind to undefeated.
